All of our goat milk soap is made from the goat's milk that we get from our own goats here on the farm. We feed our goats quality ingredients to keep them in wonderful shape for optimal milk production. Butterfat in the milk makes it even more nourishing. If you follow us on social media, you know how much we love our goats. We use Revive brand essential oils. We will start incorporating lard from our pigs that we raise here on the farm into our soaps as well. We are very excited to be on this goat milk journey. Shampoo and lotion bars will be next! Raw goat's milk is full of nutrients.
Our family has suffered from eczema and psoriasis for our entire lives. We have learned that some of that is from what we put in our bodies (food, drink, etc) but also what we put on our bodies. I (Beth) can say that I have been eczema free for 2 years! For me, I have to keep my diet consistent and not eat certain things. Although I altered my diet, I still had dry skin and some eczema. After using this soap, I have clear skin. I know that it is a combination of these things for me (I have A LOT of allergies) and that it will not be the same for everyone.
I have heard so many stories. Some clear up after just changing to this soap. Some don't have psoriasis, just have really dry and/or cracked skin. After getting away from the harsh soaps and making the switch to all natural goat milk soap their hands stop cracking. I cannot wait to hear your story! (If you want to tell it.)
All goat milk soap is made from farm fresh goat's milk, lye, coconut oil, and palm oil. Specialty soaps have additional additives that are listed on the soap package. We try our best to use all organic ingredients. These include but are not limited to; essential oils for scent, natural powders for coloring, and exfoliant materials. Every bar of soap looks different depending on the swirls of the soap when mixed. Your bar will not look exactly like the pictures because of the swirls unless its a plain bar.
Disclaimer: This soap is for external use only. We are not liable for improper use or any reactions that you may experience. Lye mixed with the other ingredients make a reaction called the saponification process. Once this happens the lye has been transformed with the other ingredients to make soap. You cannot make soap without lye or another surfactant. There are other surfactants used for other types of soap. Our shampoo bars will use the gentle sodium cocoyl isethionate.
